Hey man,
The connection on my motherboard is a 6 pin flat in one row, and its called 6 pin aux power connection.
I just connected the new powersupply to this computer without connecting the 6 pin aux power to the motherboard. ( Just the 20 pin one, and the other hard drives, etc. )
It looks pretty stable, I ran 3dmark 2001 and PCmark with no problems.
Do you think doing this is safe?
