Default Re: Power Supply / 6800 Series Sticky

Hey guys,
I changed my powersupply from 300W to 510Watts (Turbocool 510 Powersupply)
and these are my results:

3Dmark 2001:
old powersupply: 4076
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7973041
new powersupply: 4079
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7994060

PCmark2004:
old powersupply: 3310

new powersupply: 3528
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?pcm04=2485270

WOW, I cannot believe my powersupply gave me increases in BOTH benchmarks. If you guys wanna up your benchies, GET A GOOD QUALITY powersupply like the one I got, it makes a difference!
I will benchmark again once I get the 6 pin aux connection connected from the powersupply to my motherboard. ( Currently it is not )
Also will benchmark again when I get my shiny new PNY 6800 Ultra on Monday.

Sean
