Default New nforce audio driver too silent

Hi!
I have installed the new nforce driver to get SP/DIF output.
The installation was quite easy the module compiled well and
I can also load that nvsound module without problems.
I can start the nvmixer programm too and I see chipset informations.
But everytime I try to play an audio file I hear nothing. The device is found
but the file cannot be played. With mp3blaster it looks like the file is played
very fast with no output.

I'm using debian linux and this is said at the boot sreen:

Nvsound: Nvidia Audio Init Module, 17:27:10 Aug 14 2004 version 1.0-0
ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:05.0[A] -> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10
PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:00:05.0 to 64
Nvsound: NVIDIA nForce2 Controller found at Mem 0xdf000000 and IRQ a
ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:06.0[A] -> GSI 5 (level, low) -> IRQ 5
PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:00:06.0 to 64
Nvsound: NVIDIA nForce2 Audio found at IO 0xe000 and 0xec00, IRQ 5
Nvsound: Aci_device dff3bc00 Apu_device dff3a000

Can anyone help me?

Thanx...
