Default kernel 2.6.8 and black screen with last driver

Hello,

I have uninstalled the driver previously installed.
And installed the last driver 6111. But startsx leads to a black
screen.
I have a warning during installation concerning the eventual conflicts with rivafb driver compiled as a module
/lib/modules/2.6.8-2004-09-17/kernel/drivers/video/riva/rivafb.ko

I installed the new driver, running the kernel 2.6.8-2004-09-17

sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run --kernel-name=2.6.8-2004-09-17

The nvidia-installer.log is :
option status:
license pre-accepted : false
update : false
force update : false
expert : false

driver info : false
no precompiled interface: true
no ncurses color : false

Using: nvidia-installer ncurses user interface
-> License accepted.
-> Not probing for precompiled kernel interfaces.
-> Kernel source path: '/lib/modules/2.6.8-2004-09-17/build'
-> Performing rivafb check.
-> Performing rivafb module check.

I have also some warnings in dmesg :
atkbd.c: Spurious ACK on isa0060/serio0. Some program, like XFree86, might be trying access hardware directly.

Don't know if it means something.
What can I do ?

Thank you, xavier.
