yeah, just look at this thread:

Crazy bastards like us spending thousands of dollars every few years (or every year ) on their PC. We get a better experience, yes... but price is deffinitely one thing that scares most people away from computer gaming. Its just too damned expensive.

Until high-end, upgradeable PCs can be sold for $300-$400 (and actually ADVERTISED), this kind of thing will always happen.

I too find "the misinformed" (sounds like some horror story) to be the single most irritating thing on the planet. They all should be given a sheet sumarizing why they are wrong every time they say something stupid

In fact, if it werent illegal, id take it upon myself to hang around EB handing out flyers compairing PCs to consoles before people even open their mouths.
