Default MSI 5900XT Lower overclocks with time

Using stock latencies, I used to run my 5900xt at a memory clock of 770 for 6 months, then it got unstable I ran at 740 for 3 months, now its stable at 720...

I did run it at 830 with latency mods, thats with not cooling whatsoever on the memory chips, 830 was 3 months ago.

Can ram get damaged in such a way that it overclocks less?? To me that makes no sense, either it works or it doesn't...

My core overclocks more nowadays, 470 was the max, now its 480...

Mild agnosticism —the view that the existence or nonexistence of God or gods is currently unknown but is not necessarily unknowable, therefore one will withhold judgment until/if more evidence is available. A weak agnostic would say "I don't know, but maybe you do."
