Is it really broken or did they simply change the sampling pattern? My screenshots seem to hint different sampling patterns. Old 8x AA still works, but it's much more jagged on 6x.xx and 7x.xx drivers.

well as I said. For oversampling to work.. A Multisample must be taken each pixel pass. Looking at the pattern here, You can see the multisample portion is not surrounding a texture sample. So the multisampling portion is not working. It is doing 2x2 super sampling though.
