DVI to HDMI on geforce4 ti 4600
So I recently got a new HDTV (a Panasonic PT-47X54). I am currently using an s-video cable to run the tv off of my visiontek geforce4 ti 4600. I was looking to upgrade my picture quality. The TV does not have DVI input but has component and HDMI inputs. After reading a lot about DVI to component transcoders, I was wondering if I could just use a simple DVI-D to HDMI cable to achieve my goals. It seems that this is my cheapest option, I was just wondering if it would work and if it would be of high quality. Also, will i still need to play around with PowerStrip to get everything to work? Thanks for your advice.
