Obviously, it's not an easy issue to nail down, unless you're saying that nVidia, or SOE, simply don't know what they're doing.

Well all over the EQ 2 forums and here as well. People have been referring to NV4x SM 3.0 implementation as broken and EQ 2 being a primary example.
