Good links guys, was just gonna post a couple of those

I left the Jan A01 rev LCD on all last night to burn in (set screensaver to 'blank') and its seem to help the backlighting enough to the point where its almost tolerable. Another thing that helps as Brian mentioned earlier in this thread was to use a THX calibration video test to calibrate brightness & contrast levels for optimal DVD viewing. (ie - Pirates of Carribean SE DVD) Another tip is to try turning the brightness within the OSD all the way down to 0 and just adjusting the color settings within the drivers.
