Default Problem with driver/kernel...

I was about to install ET but remebered that i need to install the graphics driver before, since i havent done that. so i downloaded and ran NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6629-pkg1.run but i got this error:

so, i need to install the source to my kernel? where can i find that? maybe i should install a new 2.6.x kerneler instead?.. im using a 2.4 one now...
