Even opening one website in konqueror froze it. This release is much too unreliable for me, if it can be brought down by a trivial application like ksplash. I can't trust it. Back to 6629.
I am having the same issues with KDE. I was going through all the usual of recompiling cvs updates to KDE 3.4-cvs thinking it was something wrong with my compiling. That was done because Gnome worked fine, just selected kde apps broke down. Things like the ksplash, konqueror on some accounts and konsole. I had to go back to the 6629 drivers also. The kernel I am using is 18.104.22.168. I even disabled agpgart and still no luck.
If all is working across the board with other window managers maybe it's an issue with KDE. I've seen no bug reports on any of the KDE mailing lists, so I'm unaware if they know this issue exists.
