Nice motherboard. You have one cpu, and I don't know why it's detecting as 2. I think you may have a chipset problem. If windows and linux thinks it's got 2 cpu's, then something is amiss. This may have to be attended to by the nvidia bug list aka zander and friends. I'm sorry. If the single kernel doesn't work, I'm out of options as a user. The driver is proprietary, so you must go through nvidia. Good luck.
