OK, Its just that with the option IgnoreEDID my nvidia crashed, but giving the startup option solved the problem of the bootuplook in my case ( toshiba, not dell ). But if that does not work on your Dell either, I'm sorry.
I hope the new found Dell-nvidia will help out.
