Default Re: Trying to make headway into finding the Xid crashes source...

I have tired playing with IRQ in my bios to no avil. Setting noapic in my kernel parms does nothing(I dont have acpi compiled in or as a module). My ethernet and sound card are on the same IRQ but disabling them both does nothing. My USB drivers are also all on the same IRQ but I cannt disable that because I have alot of USB devices(including my mouse). My nvidia card is set to IRQ 16 but I can not reserve that in my BIOS. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this? If it is an IRQ problem would it be a nvidia, kernel, or mobo problem?

System Specs:
Mobo: ASUS A8V Deluxe(via chipset)
CPU: AMD 64 3500+
OS: Gentoo Linux 2005.0 x86_64
Kernel: 2.6.11-ck7
