The only reason I mentioned anything this because the Source engine has its own forum and the Doom 3 engine has its own forum, and now MMORPGs have their own forum... a console forum covers a lot more than a single game engine or genre, it seems like common sense that they would have their own.

The D3 and Source forums arent that active now that HL2 and D3 have pretty much come and gone. The console wars are beginning again and this forum is going to be packed with console threads. Might as well give consoles their own section now before you have 700 threads to move.

Gaming central covers all gaming, Yes. But there are sub forums under it. Using your logic there would be a Source Gaming Central, Doom 3 Engine Gaming Central and MMORPG Gaming Central categories.... and there arent. Im simply suggesting that they add a new sub category to keep things tidy.
