It is just a bug. The driver checks the pixel clock incorreclty and the pixel clock tells something about 150 Mhz. This strict checking was implemented in 7664 and has this nasty bug at the moment. You can just wait for the next version, use the one before 7664 or try to workarround the problem with a specially crafted modeline for your monitor.
But, if you haven't had any problems with the old driver, why do not just use this one until the new release will be out?
