On windows, when I use the 146.25 MHz for the digital, the problem goes away! But this is not the case on windows. all modelines produce such lines.

In xtiming.sf.net it asks for the horizontal/vertical sync Time (in microseconds) what are these? How can I know their values exactly for my monitor?
On Linux, try add the following to your Nvidia driver section in xorg.conf:

Option "ExactModeTimingsDVI" "True"
