Default Really shabby GL performance issue

Hi all,

I have been having some major performance issues with OpenGL in Mandriva Linux LE 2005.
However, it only seems to effect games.
GlxGears, running at 800x600 gets 844.800FPS, and any of the OpenGL visualisations run smooth no matter what size they run at.

However, when ever I try to run America's Army, Unreal Tournament, etc, I get about 3FPS.
I know something is not right, as I read a few other posts on a similar subject and my GlxInfo output is not right, but I don't know how to go about fixing my problems.
