OK, I went to root@localhost extensions and did "modprobe nvidia" and nothing came back. Whereas I did modprobe NVdriver and got the reply I got before "modprobe: Can't locate module NVdriver. Oh, and just so you know I've been to "vim /etc/X11/XF86Config-4" and under "modules" it shows: Load "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so" and under Section "Device" it has Driver "nvidia" . So, theoretically things are where they are suppose to be. Also, under Section "Device" for BoardName it has "NVIDIA GeForce2 DDR (generic)" which is what I loaded in order to get "X" to work when I loaded MDK 9.0. Hopefully this helps you see where I am. If not go to http://mandrakeusers.org and do a search for Pepse, and look at the topic: Can't reboot and ..... .

Later. Pepse.
