I have the following:

DFI Lanpart SLI-DR mobo
AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+
Leadtek GeForce 7800GTX (o/c 490/1300)
Crucial Ballistix 2x1GB DDR500 (3-3-3-8-1T)http://img194.imageshack.us/my.php?image=superpi7xs.jpg

Here is my finding:

Overclocking my Athlon64 X2 3800+ from default 2GHz stock speed:

250MHz HTT = 2.5GHz Athlon X2

270MHz HTT = 2.7GHz Athlon X2
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1198635

So in effect, I get a 50 point increase in 3dmark05, yet I increased 200Mhz in CPU speed. Does this mean my Athlon X2 is the bottleneck, or is it my GeForce 7800GTX? Anyone know?

By the way, Futuremark is reporting my 7800GTX GPU as 529MHz, when its really 490MHz in RivaTuner. Weird...
