Being a pci-e type card, I would expect it to have a pci-e type bios. So what I was suggesting is you should be able to try a AGP type bios.

Of course you could also just try another manufacturers pci-e bios ?

However, since is a new purchase, it is probably best to take it, and your problem, back to the shop !
