Default Re: What driver version does 1080i properly?

My understanding is that composite output uses a seperate output chip than DVI output on the NVIDIA cards making its interlaced output work with the linux drivers. Interlaced output however only works on one of the 6xxx series drivers(I forget which) for the DVI port.

It would be nice to be able to do a true ATSC 1080i modeline via the DVI output using a newer driver release, but the boys'n'girls writing nvidia's linux driver need to fix it.
