First off: I am quite pleased with the state of the nvidia-drivers in general. They work like a charm on my main laptop display and playing (windows) games on linux is a good kind of lifestyle.
No problems with that.
But now I tried to use the S-Video-output on my video-card to connect to my av-amplifier which in turn is connected to a seleco crt-projector and I ran into 2 different problems.
1. I can just get no color on the output. The projector does ntsc and pal (and both sync fine with the projector). I tried several pal-versions (which is my native format, I live in Germany). Last I chose PAL-G. I played around with the COMPOSITE/SVIDEO-Switch. The output is the same (in greyscales) but on COMPOSITE the info-screen of my projector tells me of a video-signal without color, he does not complain about that when switched to SVIDEO.
Maybe someone can tell me, what i am doing wrong?

Option "TVStandard" "PAL-G"
Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
2, I chose to have a different subdisplay on my tv-card. That works fine when I start X. With gnome I get a small version of my display and can send Windows to that display by setting DISPLAY to :0.1
But after some time (on the older driver it happened when entering the right part of the lcd-screen with the mouse) the tv-screen gets to be a copy of the lcd-display (partly displayed, scrolling with the mousepointer). That sounds like a real bug to me.

The laptop is a Cybersystem S28. It has a geforce 6600 go with vga-out and svideo-out and an 1680x1050 tft-display. The driver has Version 8178 the older one i talked about is of version 7676.
If I can provide more info on the problem, just ask.
