for me, DXTWeaker is still a no-go because it simply... won't start! Reinstalled .NET v1 (service pack also), then tried with .NET v2 (i'm running w2k sp4)... it keeps telling me the same thing:

Startup failed:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Microsoft.Win32.NativeMethods.CreateProcess( ....>>parameters here<<...)
at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithCreateProcess( ProcessStartInfo startInfo)
at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start()
at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(ProcessStartInfo startInfo)
at DXTControl.ApplicationConfig.Start()


any ideas? any other .net application work just fine so it could'nt be a .net instalation problem. Thank you.

edit: oh yes, sorry... using 82.12, but also the same with 81.98, 81.95 and 83.10
edit #2: using directx9c from june 2005 ...just in case...
