Heh, no way. If its significantly faster than the 6600GT AGP, itl sell like crazy because right now there is a HUUUGE hole in the Nvidia graphics card market and it covers everything above "low end". Systems like mine are still in the top range as far as CPU\RAM speed and features, but if I had a mid\low end card (like a 6600GT) , I would have *ZERO* video upgrade options short of buying a second hand 6800 or going ATI (and who the hell wants to do that? ).

The 6800 series has been completely whiped from the AGP market... you MIGHT be able to find an ultra for like $450, or maybe a 6800 vanilla for around $200 but even that isnt much faster (in fact some times they are slower) than a 6600GT.

That makes my 6800GT OC a valuable comodity for AGP users. I see them still going on Ebay for $300 because they are WORTH IT to people who dont have PCI-Express.

The 6800GS is the answer to AGP users' problems because it will offer performance thats (hopefully) significantly higher than a 6600GT and it will probably cost under $250. If there was a 512Mb 7800GTX available somewhere for a decent price, you can bet your ass Id Ebay my 6800GT right away to get some decent money out of it. It probably wont pull more than like $225 on ebay after the GS is available... because people wont buy used stuff if they can get something similar brand new from a retailer.

Of course it is ebay... Im probably giving them way too much credit as far as business sense goes
