yes, I have recompiled the driver with
+ static int NVreg_ReqAGPRate = 4;   /* force AGP Rate to 4x */
and got x4, but still it does lock X up after 10-15 minutes. I have disabled xscreensaver to make sure it is not a problem....
Desktop: Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy, XFCE 4.4, kernel 2.6.22. Dual Core AMD 2800+, Nforce4 motherboard, 2MB, nVidia GeForce 7600 GT.
