Default Re: Problems compiling 8762 module on SuSE 10.1

Judging from the log file, the kernel source tree you're building aainst is in a bad state, e.g.:

Code:
In file included from include2/asm/percpu.h:4,
                from include2/asm/processor.h:24,
                from include2/asm/thread_info.h:17,
                from /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4/include/linux/thread_info.h:21,
                from /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4/include/linux/preempt.h:10,
                from /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4/include/linux/spinlock.h:52,
                from /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4/include/linux/capability.h: 45,
                from /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4/include/linux/sched.h:7,
                from /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4/include/linux/module.h:10,
                from /home/john/Desktop/nvidia/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1/usr/src/nv/nv-linux.h:51,
                from /home/john/Desktop/nvidia/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1/usr/src/nv/nv.c:14:
/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4/include/asm-generic/percpu.h:8: error: XCONFIG_NR_CPUS undeclared here (not in a function)
You'll likely need to either reinstall the kernel source package or reconfigure the kernel source tree installed under /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4 (something like `make mrproper cloneconfig prepare` might work).
