The thing is that my cheapo digital camera stinks at taking pictures with no flash. You have to hold the camera totally still or else the resulting image is a blur monster. If I use the flash I get a decent pic but I also get the typical huge white spot on the TV screen.
Oh well. BTW the Westy is awesome. I have no dead pixels and the banding from the back light is not bad at all. I keep the back light level very low (10 right now) so the banding is barely visable. The Xbox 360 looks amazing. GRAW felt like an entirely new game. No blurring or ghosting at all. Using the Westy as a PC monitor is quite an experience. Reading my emails on a 42" screen is like watching a movie at the IMAX! Text is sharp and colors are vivid. Because of it's size I don't think I'll use the Westy as a PC monitor for to long. I'll most likely migrate it over to the bed or living room and get something smaller for the PC.
