The GeforceFX isn't sh!t if you have the cash, buy it. It just came too late for it to be a good solution to other then the Radeon 9700 Pro.
No, really, it is a piece of crap. I had the displeasure of seeing one in person recently. However, that aside, I can't fathom switching from a 9700 pro to an FX. Just doesn't make much sense to downgrade AND pay more.
