Well, nvidia-xconfig.c and nvidia-xconfig.h are C source files. But, it isn't necessary to compile them by hand, because nvidia-xconfig comes with the driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run
(or if you have a AMD64/EM64T Distribution get this one instead: NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-8762-pkg2.run).


Are you sure you installed successfully "one" of these?
