Default No headphone output on MCP51

Hi all,

I have an "nVidia Corporation MCP51 High Definition Audio" card which is detected by Ubuntu Dapper (using alsa 1.0.10-4ubuntu), but only plays audio by the internal speakers. When I connect the headphone output, it keeps playing the audio by the speakers and I get no sound in the headphones. In windows it works correctly.

# cat /proc/asound/cards

I have also tried installing alsa-1.0.12 but the same problem remains

Any ideas??
