Default Oops:

I have a machine (Toshiba 5105-s607, GeForce 440Go 32MB) running Fedora Core 5, updated with Xorg 7.1. It runs well with the 8774 driver. I tried installing the 9625 driver (ran a "--sanity" check too), and I get an Oops when starting X. The screen stays black, but I could ssh in from another machine.

I tried running the, but it hangs trying to access /proc. It looks like the nvidia driver is very hung; Xorg is unkillable (-9) and the nvidia module cannot be removed (in use).

I captured the oops from /var/log/messages, attached. Since I couldn't run the bug report with 9625, I reinstalled 8774 (the only change) and ran it. It's also attached.
