Default A7N8X Guide - Newbie trouble with Alsa cp cmd

I have been successful in getting the kernel, and video driver working Great job !!

I am having trouble getting the cp command to work
I have been successful up to this point.
Here is what I get:
[root@c68 alsa-oss-0.9.0rc1]# cp ../alsa-lib-0.9.0rc7/install-sh .
cp: cannot create regular file `./install-sh': No such file or directory

I found that install-sh has a link rather than being in the target directory.

Smile Alsa install copy solved?

I now have the sound working

What I did was to create 2 files in /alsa-oss-0.9.0rc1. They were install-sh and mkinstalldirs. Does anyone know why when I did the tar,. these files were linked to /usr/share/automake?

Many thanks to Danielk
