Default Not able to adjust hue/saturation/brightness in xine and mplayer

Hi,
I understand this problem has been raised before. URL: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...350#post693350

Is there a way to fix this? Relevant details as follows:
driver = 1.0-8774
nvidia geforce 6100 (comes integrated with the gigabyte GA-M55plus-S3G motherboard)

Everything is working fine except for the controls.

Thanks in advance,
tth

Try adding -vf eq2 to mplayer. Works fine for me.

Thanks! That works well. Do you know if there's an equivalent for xine?

I don't use xine, but I'm afraid that there's no equivalent for such a filter there...

No! Wait I googled around a bit and found this message:

Check your xine filters list maybe :-)

OK, I even installed xine :-)

Right click XINE window, select Video->Postprocess->Chain reaction and add eq2 to the list.

Talking Re: Not able to adjust hue/saturation/brightness in xine and mplayer

This is great!

I am glad I post the message here. I have been googling the entire web for the past 2 days and the only message I got is I have hit a dead end.

It's with desperation that I post here (I am on the verge of buying a new video card!).

Thanks for showing me that there's always hope!

You're welcome :-) That's what the community is for, right? :-)
Anyway, I'm glad I helped.

Cheers.
