For Linux yes. K3B eats NeroLinux alive due to the better GUI, but K3B has a higher failure rate and NeroLinux supports more disc image and audio formats.

In Windows though. K3B would have a hard time competing against Nero 6 stability and features. Compared to a patched version of Nero 7.5, nothing comes close.

Still I'd love to see a Linux Port of K3B, though I doubt it will happen anytime soon. It uses the KDElibs correct?

Your right. Nero 7 was complete crap. Now though with 7.5 it's on par with Nero 6. Still there is nothing really compelling in 7 that would make it worthwhile for somebody who owns 6 to upgrade.
