Default Nvidia Geforce 2 MX and Mandrake 9.0?

Hi

I'm experiencing a new kinf of problem installing nvidia Linux driver for my Geforce 2 MX card on a new Pc (P4 2.4 GHz - 512 MB DDR - Motherboard 845GE Intel).

In practice I can't complete the installation because after 'make install' system answer ... trash messages about precompilation variables plus an error referred to segment f10-f15, f32-f127.

Did you find the same problem? How did you fix the thing? The same card on my old Pc (Celeron 500 MHz - 256 MB - Motherboard Chipset 440 BX Microstar) worked fine with Linux Mandrake 9 + nvida driver.

Bye - thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Err.. that doesn't sound even remotely familiar as an error...

Can you post the full output of make install?

Or, try the 1.0-4349 installer, and post the /var/log/nvidia-installer.log file.

Thank you for the suggestion - I tried the new driver (and new setup) - everything went fine. Now Linux mandrake benefits of all the nvidia driver feature.
