Rotate and tear on XV using 1.0-9625 and 1.0-8762

Hi,

I am using FC4, kernel 2.6.17-1.2142_FC4smp, and X Window System Version 6.8.2.

I want to have a rotated screen so I put a Option "Rotate" "left" in xorg.conf . When I use mplayer to play the video with -vo xv, it no doubt has rotated but it has a long line of tearing along some edges 100pixels from the screen side.

This happens in 1.0-9625 and 1.0-8762 . How do I remove the tearing in rotated screen ?

What kind of movie content is required to reproduce this?

Additionally, please generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log.
