Default Re: Problem upgrading Geforce2 MX to 6800 GS AGP

lspci output is generated from a static database, and doesn't indicate anything other than how up to date the database is with reality.

One odd thing in your bug report is that the installer log is for 1.0-8762 yet you're running 1.0-8774. How did you install 1.0-8774?

Does this problem persist with the 1.0-9626 driver as well?

Thanks,
Lonni

Hmmm... This can be a software issue, but...
You've been using a GeForce 2MX, an Athlon XP 1800 on a 7VTXE mobo... Your setup is not the most modern box around anymore you know... No offence here! But aren't you simply underpowered?
Maybe the PSU is some 300 watts cheapo thing and can't keep the volts stable/supply enough power to the hardware when the system is under some heavier load?
