Default UT 2004 DirectX9 how?

I remmember there used to be a DirectX9 renderer for UT 2004, one of the latest patches disabled it. Is there anyway to get it working again?

I think you mean this, go to your UT2004.ini and change this:

Code:
[Engine.Engine]
RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice
;RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice
for this

Code:
[Engine.Engine]
;RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice
RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice
But I dont know if with the latest patches it works.

it is still a directx7 level game. Should run fine with any renderer. The game is already cpu limited with the directx8 renderer

I believe the 64bit patch uses the directx 9 renderer.
