Default Could Silicon Grafics GLX replace Nvidia GLX?

Yo,

Could Silicon Grafics GLX replace Nvidia GLX? Is there any sense to test this? I have improved system stability and better speed as target...:-)

See the page:

From the download page:

For instructions on building GLX with XFree 3.3, see the README file...
Sounds like it only works with ancient versions of X. Unless that means that it can work with ancient versions too, and the README tells how, but for some reason I doubt that.

But try it and see.
