Compiz + Xinerama
I am trying to get compiz to work on debian (unstable) with the nvidia drivers 9625. I have never had this work but I followed the debian howto on setting it up. I added the xorg line bellow
Option "Composite" "Enable"
When I go to do compiz --replace I get
~$ compiz --replace
/usr/bin/compiz.real: No RandR extension
:~$ The program 'gtk-window-decorator' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
(Details: serial 189 error_code 2 request_code 78 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
As far as I can tell Xorg.0.log says that composite is enabled and Randr enabled. What Am I missing here.

Re: Compiz + Xinerama
Try with beryl. Compiz seems to have some problems with Xinerama in general. Beryl supposedly have some patches to counter these...
