Default Hard lockups with MultiGPU

I can reproduce this problem on both stable and beta driver (9625).

When I keep playing some game for longer time, the system locks up (SysRq doesn't work, neither does the network).
Strange thing is that sometimes it even locks up after exiting the game (usually during next 2 minutes). When freezing in 2D mode the windows usually stop redrawing (but I can switch them) and then it locks up.
Nothing in xorg/system log.

I have GeForce 7950 GX2, SLI/MultiGPU in SFR mode. Stable when not using 3D. My PSU is 700W (really should handle this). My BIOS is up2date.

Hopefully I'll get some response from nVidia at least for this bugreport

Does this problem persist if you:
0) Boot with the pci=conf1 kernel parameter
1) Use the 1.0-9626 driver
2) Boot with a 2.6.18.x kernel.org kernel
3) Update to the latest BIOS for your motherboard

Thanks,
Lonni

0) will try and report back
1) trying now
2) already at 2.6.18 (gentoo-r1) - do you mean that I should try vanilla?
3) already at latest version

Just another update: the whole thing about OpenGL applies to XVideo too. It may crash during the playback or some time after stopping it.
I am currently testing the pci=conf1 kernel parameter, the 9626 driver doesn't resolve it.

Neither of your ideas helped.
I've turned MultiGPU off and I run games in separated X session with extra MultiGPU enabled xorg.conf file so the probablity of crash is quite low... but that's no solution.

I've read about such problems on motherboards with no support for MultiGPU but their systems reset/lock up _right after_ enabling MultiGPU.

I was wrong. It locks up with MultiGPU turned off too.

C'mon, this is so much like nVidia drivers. Mouse cursor is moving but nothing reacts to input. After a while it locks up completely.

I've updated BIOS to latest Beta version, no luck.
