Question 1.0-9629 conflict with cups ? Fedora 5 & 6

After installing the driver the machine would lockup when starting every other time, disabling cups solved the problem, not an issue since my printer isn't supported under linux anyways. But I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+
Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe
Asus 7600GS x 2
2 G Corsair

Also, not sure how to generate an error report since it locks up during the graphical boot.

My cups stopped printing after 1.0-9629, I didnt connect the dots untill I saw you message.
I just switch to ESP Print Pro (the cups you have to buy) because I still had an old license that was not in use. PrintPro seems to work fine.

This is on a Debian 3.1 box.

This seems more like an unfortunate coincidence. I've got 1.0-9629 on a few FC6 systems here, and CUPS is working fine.
