My biggest reason for getting the 5800 Ultra is it's VERY limited Production.
I will more than likly keep it for many years to come.

Tho I'm sure it's performance will get better with new drivers.
It kinda reminds me when the Radeon 8500 come out.
Great hardware but your going to have to wait for better drivers.

I'm going to wait for ATI and Nvidia to come out with new stuff later this year and upgrade again by Xmas.

Your right radeon 9800 pro wont even break 400mhz clock speed w/o oc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just did an upgrade last month to this rig.
Well, all but the 9700. I've had it sense Oct last year.

It will be cheaper for the 5800.
I sold my 9700 for 240.
A new mobo is 280.
So my new 5800 was 160.
