Default Re: 1.0-9629 doesn't get 1920x1200.

Hi DrReD,

I tried your method, still the same. Someone claimed that the EDID display by samsung shipped with this Dell Inspiron 8200 is giving faulty. I'm not sure about that. At this moment, this laptop only work w/ 8776 or below with the option;
UseEDID = false & ExactModeTimingsDVI = true to get the max resolution of 1600x1200, but it still failed on switching resolution in X. e.g. from 1600x1200 to 1400x1050 & 1280x1024, you'll get screen corruption like the pic show.

Without this 2 option, you also get the screen corruption too and the default resolution will be 1400x1050 rather then 1600x1200.

As for driver 9625, 9626 & 9629, I have to add in another Option UseDisplayDevice "DFP" if not driver will only detected CRT as default. Kind of weird while this is a laptop. With UseEDID disabled and ExactModeTimingsDVI enabled, I get black screen w/ 2 horizontal lines. Enabled UseEDID, will give me a default resolution of 1400x1050 with corrupted screen as show in pic.

BTW DrReD, are you running the same laptop and with 1600x1200 working? If yes, I think I need your EDID.bin My last resource is to try CustomEDID option. Thanks
