Default Gentoo64+Beryl+Xfce4...blackscreens

System Info:

Gentoo-64

Dell Latitude D620, dual core intel centrino EMT64, 1gig ram

#dmesg

VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Quadro NVS 110M / GeForce Go 7300 (rev a1)

Running the latest nvidia driver in portage .67

Running the latest xorgserver .902 in portage

I am using the gl extension built into the card now to run the latest svn beryl window manager.

Xfce4+Beryl+Emerald+Nvidia gl

The problem is that when i open more then about 4 apps the 5 on....will start but all i get is black screens where the content should be. This has been the case with the last two revs of linux drivers as well. Everything works except i am limited to the number of apps i can run,, it appears that the more colorful the app the less new apps i can open that will not result in just a shell/black screen. ie..firefox rendering google.com will allow me to open maybe k3b, xmms, xterm but firefox rendering a high res backdrop with lots of color will only allow me to open kb3 and xmms then everything after that just black screens. A friend is running the same config but on a desktop and does not have the same issues. I have tried the same config on a gentoo 32 bit system "Dell latitude C840" again another GO card....with the same results. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
