I noticed a new cool splash screen in 9629, is it possible to extract it so I can use it for wallpaper?

swannee,
Unless you have the "NoLogo" option in your xorg.conf, the logo is enabled. However, the logo is only displayed for as long as it takes the driver to initialize the hardware. If your monitor takes longer than that to sync, you may never see the logo at all. |
