Default beryl with nvidia crahs computer

Hi, i hope some one is able to help me, i just install beryl using this guide http://gentoo-wiki.com/Beryl
but now when i got to type beryl-manager all my windows a striped and my computer locks up
it says in the console that it could not find XGL and that it was looking for Nvidia it thens says that it found Nvidia but then locks up at that point

I don't know why else to do

I am running gentoo, new install and my system specs can be found here

I hope some one is able to help me out

i dont really know but.... have you installed xgl? xserver-xgl should be the package. that beryl stuff is not very stable yet. why not use kde 3.5.5 and xserver-xorg?

i am using KDE 3.5, well i was told that this was a nice one to install and that other people have been able to get it to work.
