doom3 and quake 4 are stuttering

Yes this is with new drivers and especially with Krenels above 2.6.15 ...
on 2.6.15.7 or ck7 (Con Colivas patch set) all are going smooth and fast but since kernel 2.6.16 these games working very bad ... stuttering and slownest are standard ... with kernel 2.6.19 is much better but still slower then 2.6.15 ... where is a problem ?...
memory menagment ?
nvidia drivers bad interaction with newer Linux kernels ?
